I’ve used this helmet for my first 2 outside ventures, and it’s excellent. Very light, doesn’t get too hot, and I (like others wrote) actually forgot I was wearing it. As a new climber, it gives me a good peace of mind, allowing me to continue to develop my other skills and safety practices without worrying about my noggin so much.

I purchased this helmet for my son who takes climbing lessons, it is quite adjustable and can fit a child as well as an adult. This model has several improvements over previous Black Diamond half-dome helmets and we are very satisfied with our purchase.
