Best belay device for skinny double rope systems. Provides the smoothest rappel of any system that I have used. Time tested as well, I have been using them with a 8.1mm double rope system for over ten years. Works fine for larger ropes as well. Great for climbing in the mountains when the descent requires full pitch raps.
