Full Description

As the most-padded and comfortable harness in Petzl’s line, the Calidris works well for long multi-pitch trad and aid lines. Sliding DoubleBack buckles on the waist and legs can be adjusted easily to accommodate layers for cold days or keep you from going numb at a hanging belay. The Calidris’ four gear loops hold a large rack of cams, stoppers, and hooks. Petzl also added a tag line to let you trail a rope and reload half way through a long aid pitch.

An excellent harness, easy to secure and plenty of attachment points for your gear. Plenty of adjustments to make a comfortable fit.

This is a great harness. Very adjustable for the larger person or someone who needs a harness to wear over clothing. Very comfortable and secure. I will buy the #1 version of this when I replace this harness with a smaller harness.

I like this particular harness for a few reasons, First it is very adjustable, probably resulting in the second reason I really like it, it is very comfortable. It offers 4 well thought out places that are semi-rigid to set up your quick draws without any fuss. I have not experienced any pinching in falls, it seems to distribute force evenly. Have not found anything I dont like yet. I have only used it in a climbing gym and and for rapping out of the tree in my backyard so far.
