    Bottom line; I love it. It’s a great bag for individual use, I have already highly recommended it to my climbing buddies. – I rated this at 4 stars only because it is the first chalk bag I have owned, though I have used plenty. – Climbing exp 7 years off and on, 1 year consistent. It does not come with a waist strap so I had to buy one separate but not a big deal. It’s a standard sized chalk bag and I bought a refillable chalk shot along with it. The draw cord is easy to use and I’ve never seen an elastic opening on a chalk bag (I tried to imagine it and that would be hel’az annoying). I am an out-doorsy Manly-man so color doesn’t really mater to me meaning “if it works, I like it – if it works great, I love it.”
    ITS HAND MADE IN NEPAL you can bet there will be some color variation as well as stitch variation. Mine has 4.5 waves on both top and bottom while the one in the photo has only 3 on the top and bottom, seriously not a big deal, I didn’t notice this until I started writing this review (used it for 8 trips). Also mine doesn’t have a complete peace symbol on it, which again, I didn’t notice until I started writing this.
    I care about functionality and this is a great bag, that comes in cool designs and I brag to all my buddies that its hand made in Nepal.

    I got the Blue Yin Yang. Looks like the picture, bought the belt and that fits flawlessly with it. The draw string could some how be elastic so it closes as you pull your hand out to prevent chalk from exiting when you place on the floor it doesn’t come out. Other than that great bag for the price. Very satisfied.

    When I ordered this chalk bag, I expected the zig zag thread in the center to be the same color as the thread in the picture (more redish/blue), but it was not. I was a little disappointed when I got it and the thread was very pink, with only a hint of red because I got it for my boyfriend……. So, expect some variation in the color of the thread. Otherwise, the chalk bag is great. If any women are looking at this chalk bag, be aware of its size. It’s fairly large, as it is a mens chalk bag.
